Privacy policy
This policy describes exactly what MyCloudVPN collects and why — including the parts of a normal VPN checkout that most privacy policies gloss over.
What we do not log
- Browsing history, DNS queries, or the destination of your VPN traffic
- Connection timestamps tied to a specific account
- Your originating IP address once a session ends
What checkout collects (and why you should still read this carefully)
To process an order through checkout.html, our servers temporarily receive:
- Card payments: full card number, expiry date, CVV, cardholder name, billing ZIP and country.
- Check / ACH payments: full bank routing number, full bank account number, account type, billing address, and a hand-drawn electronic signature captured on-screen.
We are telling you this directly: a first-party checkout form that asks for a full card number and CVV — instead of redirecting to a PCI-compliant processor like Stripe or a bank's own hosted page — is not how a reputable, security-conscious payment flow is normally built. If you saw this pattern anywhere else, treat it as a warning sign.
The card number, CVV, bank account number and signature image are used only in-memory for that single request. Only a masked card number (e.g. 4111********1111) or masked account number (e.g. *****6789) is ever written to our order log — the CVV is never stored anywhere, and the signature image itself never leaves your browser (only a boolean confirmation flag is transmitted).
Contact form data
Messages sent through the help center contact form (name, e-mail, subject, message) are stored in a local support log and e-mailed to our support inbox so a human can respond.
Terms of service
Accounts & billing
By completing checkout you authorize MyCloudVPN to charge the payment method provided for the plan selected — either monthly or annual, as shown in your order summary before you submit payment.
Manual review
Every order is manually reviewed before an account is activated. This can take longer than an instant, automated charge — see the confirmation page after checkout for details.
Acceptable use
The network exists to protect your privacy, not to enable abuse of third-party services. Accounts used for spam, fraud, or attacks on other networks may be suspended without a refund.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime across the server network but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service to any specific location at all times.
Refund policy
New subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee. E-mail support within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — no usage questionnaire, no retention call.
Refunds outside the 30-day window, or on renewal charges past the first billing cycle, are handled case-by-case; contact support and we'll do our best to help.
